DEAR PURVEYORS OF FINE POTATOES

Dear Purveyors of Fine Potatoes

It’s been a while since my last update and I am so dreadfully sorry for leaving you in the lurch. My feeble excuse of writing the fourth (and final) Spud novel was quite rightly laughed out of town. So to temper the hostility I shall soften your resistance with two slices of breaking Spud news:

1) Yesterday I handed the final manuscript of Spud – Exit, Pursued by a Bear to my publishers.

2) Today the film version of Spud - the Madness Continues was green-lit. This means financing has been completed, stars have been signed, pre-production begins and the film will be shot this July.

Oh and by the way Alan (Boggo) Greenstein recently got in touch over FB – he reports from grievous personal experience, that he most certainly does not recommend entertaining the new craze of gonad waxing. He insisted I passed this on to you without giving a valid reason.

Spud – Exit, Pursued by a Bear hits the shelves on August 4. I hope it makes you cackle and sniff.
